This project was an interesting one because it proposed multiple challenges to solve within each product. The designs should be problem solving and functional under normal use and distress alike. It should keep its contents dry and organised all while being extremely light weight and durable. In collaboration with designer Hunter Nordhauser we worked with innovative materials (Aluula) and re-thinking some of Db’s classic solutions into modular, simplified and light weight solutions.
