When Db partnered up with SAS I had the pleasure of working closely with the SAS team to redesign existing Db products for the purpose of becoming their cabin crew luggage.

For this particular set the focus was on adding details to the products that would be useful during their daily transit. It meant solving problems such as avoiding the excess shoulder strap webbing being dragged along the floor when the backpack was hooked onto the carry-on, adding pockets for safety vests, making it possible to transport the backpack on the luggage handle with ease.

But also incorporating the SAS identity onto these products.
Here we added details such as using their wording and font on an element that could resemble the airplane seatbelts; the webbing. This was used on interaction points such as the front webbing and handles across the range.
Adding the different brand logos in a silver reflective on separate surfaces allows them to each come to their own right on the products. The silver reflective prints and stitching adds and additional value as well, not by providing visibility the same way a reflective vest would do, but by adding glimmers to draw the attention towards the two journey brands. Perhaps it would initiate a thought process of what the next journey should be?
